You're missing the point. Spiderman and assassins creed have already been made too. And people are tired of buying 'that game you played last year but shinier and laggier and with 500 more meaningless fetch quests and collectibles to find'. Game companies will likely continue to refuse to realize this and actually innovate though, and will continue to throw more money and more people at their dying IPs with increasingly diminishing returns.

Yeah and Minecraft is one of the games people have put the most hours into. People want a game that is fun and continues to be fun. That doesn't require 600 people to do. It requires caring, intention, and understanding of what games actually provide for people. Not just a desire to sell more loot boxes or whatever.

I literally never said don't do the small acts, I think they're great. I think the meme stating that doing just small acts is 'enough' is fucking stupid, of you really want to get into it. Yes absolutely small acts of kindness are amazing and need to be performed far more often. But patting yourself on the back because you held a door for someone or helped an old lady carry her groceries and thinking to yourself 'i made a difference, now I don't have to worry or think about anything else' is a fucking toxic mentality. I wasn't gonna get this deep on this post but you pushed me. Small acts of kindness are absolutely essentially but they are definitively, 100% not ENOUGH.

And the state of the world seems like 'enough' to you right now? It's not the acts of kindness I have issue with it's the assertion that that's all that's needed.

Hasnt done much yet. Unfortunately for every small kind act you do there's someone out there with more power and influence doing a thousand evil ones.

You definitely used to be able to claim free games through a browser, I claimed a few on my phone and I've literally never had the epic launcher installed on any device.

That's actually a good simple fix which hadn't occurred to me, hopefully it helps with whatever shitty routing problems theyve got going on. I don't think there's even an IT guy employed by the school so...

Can't you just use your browser to claim them anymore?
