Quiet Changes in Bitwarden

Yeah this is why I don't want to bother self-hosting. There are just too many ways to fuck it up. I'd rather pay a small fee for professionals to handle it for me 🤷 If Bitwarden goes to shit, I can always move to something else - I never heard of a password manager that didn't let us export passwords.

I don't think I received one of these. Only heard about the price increase on Lemmy before I was invoiced with the increased sum.

thanks, I haven't seen this before

didn't KeepassXC go full into vibe coding?

otherwise that would be the most appealing alternative to me too

As an introverted person, I use self-checkout wherever I can. The less I have to talk to random people, the happier I am :)

I'm also strongly for outsourcing shitty jobs to machines, like it happened with washing machines. Let them do that work, and let people enjoy the creative ones.

Except being an artist is enjoyable, while being a cashier is very monotonous in a noisy environment. I'm strongly anti-genAI, but I'm all for outsourcing shitty jobs to machines.

yeah I'm not into anime art, but Genshin's landscapes are breathtakingly atmospheric

*it uses Denuvo tho.

and AI-generated art during its development :/

Genshin is the only one I know of. Its monetisation is predatory, but it's a huge open world action-RPG with tons of discoverable chests and environmental puzzles. Also it's very f2p friendly if you're not susceptible to hype and FOMO - I've been playing for 4+ years with most areas 100% explored (and 70+ characters unlocked) without ever spending a pence.

I like Scotland's proportional representation system. It retains constituency candidates, but compensates non-winning parties with seats based on regional votes. Afaik Wales and Northern Ireland also have proportional systems in their devolved parliaments, so only England is lagging behind :P
