18d 23h ago in solus@piefed.social from media.piefed.socialI have not used Mint in a long time, so I cannot really compare it. I think Solus works great (I am biased) for simple home use (a little bit office work, a little bit of gaming, a little bit of developing).
I think most of the software you mentioned are available natively on Solus repository except openwebui (not sure). I mostly play a single player game and emulation, so cannot say about those multiplayer games.
Do feel free to visit our forum (dicuss.getsol.us) to ask these questions. Many more peole are hanging out there.

Yeah, this is known issue. We are in process of updating GRUB and Calamares. Also migrate the default from LUKS1 to LUKS2. Hopefully that will resolve this issue.
