I think it would still work
What traditionally men's fashions do you like to wear?
1y 7d ago in womensstuff@piefed.blahaj.zoneCombat pants- they're nice and baggy, have millions of pockets and have a sensible, comfy fit with non 'girly' colours, eg olive green, navy, black or camo!
BOOTS! I still have a pair of caterpillar boots that are probably around 20+ years old, the soles are indestructible! Dr Martins and baseball boots (Chucks)
Hoodies- again they have pockets, usually with zips! and the colours are non 'girly'
I think that mens clothes have tougher, longer lasting material that don't come with ridiculous trimmings. Have nicer colours (in flavours of drab), plus POCKETS!!
Women specific clothes are just alien things that are just vile, except for some jeans (and bras, knickers 😆 lol)
Help me find a fragrance?
1y 7d ago in womensstuff@piefed.blahaj.zonefragrantica has a useful perfume note feature, just search for peach and it will bring up loads of fragrances containing it... the forums are also friendly, good luck 👍

I want to explore Linux and coding more, and need recommendations
1y 1mon ago in linuxmint@lemmy.mlI do actually want to get a Raspberry Pi at some point.... been thinking about it for about 5 years or so, BUT at the moment I want to concentrate on what I have rather than buy hardware I may take some time getting round to using
Thank you for the book suggestion, I had a brief look online and it does seem interesting, I'm going to acquire a copy.... if he can describe the inner workings of computers in a humorous way, and if I can maybe learn just one new thing, then I'm in! 👍
Thanks again
Ah okay 👍
I'm quite happy with Mint, but I do have 2 laptops, one for travel and the other I can use as an experimental playground.
I think trying Arch will be out of my comfort zone right now, but I can see that as an option once I've got to grips with the basic stuff
Thank you, I appreciate it 😀
Thank you, I think this may be what I'm looking for (also I had it bookmarked and had forgotten about it)
