It's not possible with the current version. The next version will use the sort type that is set in the settings of your Lemmy account. I will also add the option to remember the selected sort type for communities and feeds.

Preview version of Lemming App is now available
2y 11mon ago in lemming_appThank you for the detailed feedback. Material You dynamic theming is supported in the latest release that is now on GitHub. Profiles, messages and search are some of the features that I want to add next.
The source code is now publicly available: https://github.com/janniskilian/lemming
The app will be published on F-Droid, but I don't know yet when I will find the time to do it.
No problem, it will be on the Play Store next week.
