There's a lot more professions than doctor or nurse where one might have a patient under their care. It's also possible that OP meant charge instead of patient depending on if English is their first language.

Plenty of doctors and nurses are naive or lacking in certain areas of "smarts".

I’d be willing to bet Sound Transit has been working on a solution and the Bellevue residents are being impatient and a bit whiny. It seems hard to believe that ST would ignore legitimate complaints considering they’ve repaired similar issues before.

Has it been at least rumored why Sound Transit won’t put the same solution they used for the loud trains in Tukwila in here for Bellevue?

A lot of the issues you have with Lemmy is in large part because there’s less people here than Reddit. You really have to curate your subscriptions page to get that kind of algorithm treatment you’re used to from Reddit. There’s a lot of communities here that don’t hit the top posts in all but are still active.

You also kinda have to be the change you want to see and be stubborn about it. Keep posting things you find interesting, throw out those comments on posts even if there’s no other comments or motion. A new community isn’t going to get built up overnight.
