people recommend i listen to audiobooks to avoid that but it takes way longer to find the place i started drifting off on an audio file than in a book, plus i catch myself quicker for some reason

ive cooked from both of these and definitely second them as recommendations. the vegan chinese kitchen is my favorite by far, probably because it had a larger variety of ingredients that were new to me and easily accessed at two high quality asian markets nearby.

weve had some early warm, sunny, and dry weather so ive been playing this chill kazakhstani song. i was a little put off by the voice at first but it grew on me

if anyone is interested in more stories like this i definitely recommend reading "islands of abandonment" by cal flyn, which also has a chapter on chernobyl. stories of natural recovery in areas that humans no longer occupy.

it turns out tylenol stole the election for biden

ive been reading a collection of locked room mysteries called miraculous mysteries: locked room mysteries and impossible crimes. i recently finished after the people lights have gone off by stephen graham jones and realized short stories fit more into the pace of life for me at the moment, and murder mysteries get me in just the right way. plus i dont have to agonize over my guess for quite as long

also a bookwyrm user here, nice to see others out in the wild

ah theres always trouble down at the sotreé seet station at 42eet
