Meant as a sister community to stable_diffusion@lemmy.dbzer0.com for people to talk about chat models or music generation models. Or just discuss AI in general.
FYI most of the activity I've seen around AI discussions on Lemmy lately has been over at localllama@sh.itjust.works
There's also fosai@lemmy.world but it's even less active.
For something that I feel doesn't really fit in either of those -- have you heard about the Pope's encyclical on AI? I think it's supposed to be released sometime today, IIRC. I'm not religious but I am curious to see how they're going to try to position the Catholic Church wrt AI.
Edit: The encyclical has been released. I haven't read it just yet, but will later.
