Terraplane Blues - Foghat [1975] Blues Rock. A cover of the 1936 Robert Johnson song. The album Fool for the City was certified Platinum. It hit #23 on the US Billboard 200 & #85 Canada Top Albums/CDs

The Clash - Rock the Casbah [1982]. Released on 11 June 1982 as the second single from their fifth studio album, Combat Rock. It reached #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the US.

"Over the Mountain" is the opening track of heavy metal musician Ozzy Osbourne's second studio album Diary of a Madman [1981]. The song debuted at #42 on the Billboard Top Tracks chart and reached #38

Need You Tonight - INXS [1987]. The lead single from the album Kick. #3 in Australia, the song became a chart hit worldwide, peaking at #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart; their only #1 US single.

New Sensation - INXS [1987]. It reached No. 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100, No. 9 in Australia, No. 25 in the United Kingdom, and No. 1 in Canada.

Devil Inside - INXS [1987]. Released as the second single (third in the UK) from the band's album, Kick (1987), in February 1988. The song reached number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 for 2 Weeks.

Miss You - The Rolling Stones [1978]. #1 Canada Top Singles (RPM) and (CFUN), # 1 US Billboard Hot 100, #3 UK Singles (OCC). It became the Rolling Stones' eighth and final number-one single in the US

With a Little Help from My Friends - Joe Cocker [1968]. Cocker's version of the song reached number one on the UK Singles Chart on the week of 6–12 November 1968.

Elton John - Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds [1974]. Recorded at the Caribou Ranch, it featured backing vocals and guitar by John Lennon under the pseudonym Dr. Winston O'Boogie

Rod Stewart - Get Back [1975]. From the Sound Track "All This And World War II". The film juxtaposes Beatles songs covered by a variety of musicians with archival World War II newsreel footage.

Eleanor Rigby by Zoot [1970]. They had a top-five hit on the Go-Set national singles chart with a heavy rock cover of the Beatles' ballad "Eleanor Rigby" released in 1970, but they disbanded in May 71
