Microsoft Defender did not give me any "Threats Found" for the previous 2.6.3 standalone version.
What change in 2.6.4 is getting flagged?

Your AV may also flag any Monero code containing mining code/strings, check the changelogs onsite
2.6.4 changelog windows: mitigate false-positive AV detections caused by embedded ‘cryptonight’ strings
Get the last release because they also fixes fee selection-bug
