WireShark on Linux Mint?

Just installed it via package manager and I'm trying to get my brain around it. Anyone out there have any experience or tips for running WireShark on Linux Mint? Thanks so much!

Just figured out how to run it with root privileges, so the big thing is down. Thank you for responding!
It's better to run it as not root, which you can presumably do on Linux Mint by adding yourself (or another user account) to the wireshark group after installing the package.
