Just lost a whole bottle of water

Not the bottle, but the whole content of it spilled in my backpack. Filled my bottle purposely for the way home, as the water from a station at work is refreshingly cool and tasty.
Raise your glasses to the lost quencher of thirst!
Last week I bought a gallon of water and while transferring it from the bag to the car I dropped it on the pavement. Helplessly watching as the bottle burst, and it all drained away.

You didn't really "lose" it, it's still there soaked into your backpack!
They just need to suck on it
I believe that is the preferred method as described in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. They were using towels though so that may skew the results
