Spirit of Place: The Art of the Traveling Photographer
I love his compositions. And he gave me the courage to ask permission to take photos of people in the places I travel.

I may have to go reread it now. It's been almost 2 decades since i first got it, and i feel like i still remember the core messages from it. I'm curious to know if that's actually the case or if there are little nuggets in there I've totally forgotten.
