Recommendations for high PPI touch screen portable monitors under 14 inches?

I've been looking at displays on Amazon and Alibaba. The options available seem kinda weird and full of scams.

The ideal portable monitor that I would want to buy would be around the same size, appearence, and performance as the Galaxy Tab's or iPad Air's display. Though when searching for monitors, I'm not finding anything that is comparable. I don't want to buy an iPad or Galaxy Tab either, even though solutions like Duet Display exist, posts on reddit claim that it has very poor performance with low FPS.

I'm not concerned with price. I just want a high PPI touch screen OLED display that is under 14".

I really like the physical appearence of this Intehill display. Though, the display only supports 8 bit colors and I'm worried that I'm going to notice banding on gradients. I use a U2723QE most of the time, which is a $500~ mid level 4k display compared to like an 8k variant that Dell sells. It's also not an OLED display.

There is this Bimawen 4k OLED display, but I think the physical form is not ideal. I want like a tablet like display, and the back on this one isn't flat.

There are other options on Alibaba, like this 14" 4k OLED display. Though, I'm having trouble finding reviews, and don't really feel like I understand what I'm purchasing.

I feel like everything I purchase will have a significantly worse display than an iPad or a Galaxy Tab. Any suggestions?

It's been a while since I used a portable monitor, but when I was in the market for such a setup, I got the impression that the segment was very fragmented.

I will speculate that you'll find it difficult to find a portable 4K OLED monitor with HDR support. It's likely that such panels will be directed to segments such as laptops, regular monitors or premium tablets.

It's like with "non-standard" resolutions. I am a big fan of 16:10 and I cannot find any good 2560x1600 monitors in my country (they are SKUs available in Europe and the US, but importing them to my country on an ad-hoc basis is extremely pricey).

Perhaps this one may be of interest, but it is an IPS panel:

AliExpress can be a lottery. You might actually find what you are looking for, but even then, there will be issues with warranty and support.

I really like the espresso Pro too. The only issue is that it's a 15.6 inch display. I also think the Sotsu Elite 16 looks really good too, but it's also above 15.6 inches. I saw them both reviewed in a video from 9to5Mac.

I think I'm just still being difficult and want it tablet sized so it will fit within my laptop's carrying case.

I don't completely understand how they make these design decisions. As an example, the Apple Vision Pro is $4k with probably half the cost to compute? If they had just made a backpack for MacBooks, they could have cut the cost and half and likely made it a very light headset without neck strain.

It might be worth getting a slightly bigger laptop bag. :)

The Vision Pro is meant to be a next generation product category more so than a viable product today.
