Some Japanese devs played Stardew Valley and loved it, but wanted something more "carefree" – now their anime life sim RPG, [Starsand Island], is tearing up Steam Next Fest, and it's hard to put down

Starsand Island is exactly what it sounds like, and very good so far

right there with them.

if SDV had a way to disable fatigue or hunger it would be perfect.

Glad I'm not the only one to think that. That game kinda stresses me out somehow, lol

Not yucking your yum, but how do I get the opposite of what you’re having? “The dark souls of farming games” 🤣

That would be Vintage Story, someone probably has a world setting list and mods combo for it.

There's a mod that just lets you slowly regenerate HP and energy (speed is configurable). It does imo make the game more enjoyable that way.

I'd like if they added napping, like they have in co-op mode.

Valid, it was oddly stressful to try and optimize your path and time...

But isn't that kind of the point? To see these behaviors and realize you don't need to do that?

I can see why so many missed that though... Especially a Japanese game dev.
