[UnReal World] has been in continual development for 33 years, and its creator doesn't think he'll ever stop updating it: 'When I accomplish one feature, I always have two more waiting'

UnReal World has been in development since 1992.

Love this game. Been playing it for almost a decade now. It can be so..sooooo brutal. Until you figure out the cheese mechanics.

That doesn't exactly sound like good design

Meh, I choose not to use the cheese, and it's meant to be really hard.

What are the cheese mechanics (high level)?

I've heard about this game maybe 7-8 years ago, been meaning to try it, but have never got it. It's actually not my type of game (I am more into city-builder, tycoon/business sim and strategy game), but its history makes me want to play it at least for a few hours.
