Royal Enfield Scram 411

After driving around on little scooters for many years, I finally have something to properly carry me across the Andes. 😍

That is one awesome looking bike! I love when the engine is in the frame instead of part of the frame

I think those are crash bars, not the frame.

They are, but the Scram is a full-frame bike too - essential for off-roading IMO!

Interesting. I just assume every bike has the engine as a stressed member because its probably cheaper that way, but makes sense to have a full frame on a bike that's expected to see any sort of adverse condition.

That’s a gorgeous bike. Congratulations on making the move from scooters to motorcycles!

The pipe looks sick!

Looks like a lot of fun to drive

Good choice, my workhorse bike is a 2021 Himalayan (so, basically the same bike but with some extra crap on the front)

One tip: It's good in mountains, but if it's over 40°C and you have a constant 1 in 4 or steeper uphill for more than a couple of km, it's going to get overheated.

Not a big problem, when I've had that I just stop and enjoy cooling off in the shade with my bike, and after half an hour we're both good to go again :-)

These REs are so cool!
