Savannah Guthrie is one of the most recognizable and high-earning figures in American media. How Famous Is She? has she said anything against trump lately? anything significant? anything earlier?
Lately, the relationship between Savannah Guthrie and Donald Trump has taken an unexpected turn. While they have a history of tense public clashes, current interactions are defined by a high-profile personal tragedy. Significant Recent Developments (2026) Trump's Personal Support: On February 4, 2026, President Trump personally called Guthrie to offer support regarding the reported abduction of her mother, Nancy. Directing Federal Aid: Trump publicly vowed to place all federal law enforcement resources at the family’s disposal to aid the search in Arizona. A Shift in Tone: Despite their past friction, Trump recently told reporters, "I always got along very good with Savannah," describing her mother's disappearance as a "terrible thing." Earlier Notable Conflicts Guthrie is widely known for her "piercing" interview style that has frequently put Trump on the defensive: The "Crazy Uncle" Moment (2020): During a viral NBC town hall, Guthrie famously pressed Trump on his retweets of conspiracy theories, telling him: "You're the president—you're not like someone's crazy uncle who can just retweet whatever!" QAnon and COVID-19 Grilling: In the same 2020 interview, she repeatedly pushed him to disavow QAnon and interrogated him on whether he had taken a COVID-19 test on the day of his debate with Joe Biden. Trump's Backlash: Following that town hall, Trump attacked Guthrie's performance at a rally, calling her a "crazed lunatic" and claiming she was "screaming questions." Despite this contentious history, the recent missing person case has led to a period of public cooperation and expressed mutual respect between the two.
my assessment: this is what trump/putin are using the russian spetznaz/intel-agents on american soil for! under cover of otherwise looking like masked ice officers going somewhere for official business. they go behind the scenes and: threaten, bribe, or assault people and property (think liberal judges who arent going along with the program, usually) or they can be used to cause distractions, again using belligerent liberals (or their family members) as materiel! this ones to: distract from: a lot of things going on right now. epstein, minneapolis, ice hate, bad polls, market starting to crash, crypto crashing, social media allegations circulating, the minneapolis pull-out, the government shutdown.... a distraction buys time and makes people forget what they were mad about (their emotions cool within a few days without hearing about further things that were enraging them), while the perpetrators figure out how to work out their next problems. remember, usually the goal of a normal abduction is to get money. and quickly. so you dont get caught. you pick a price theyre likely to be willing to pay, so that theyll pay it; you keep it to one quick transaction where you give em back what you took and get out of there yourself. to minimize the chances of being caught. a high-profile case/person would in general make it way more likely to get you caught; a real abductor probably would never pick a target like this to begin with; it sets the news and all the cops and fbi in the country after you. obviously it would cause a media explosion. normally that alone would get any abductor caught. from there, you wouldnt want to drag the situation out with back-and-forths and repeated negotiation attempts. unless you wanted to just create a media distraction... the abductors are probably russian intel or special forces who were brought over by trump/russia to do things like this behind the scenes. ice is in part a cover for this real operation. the abductors will look perfect though in terms of disguises and whatever prop house theyre using. if she gets returned she'll probably have a full story about them that appears to pass muster as crazy americans somehow. anyway doing this also sends a message to people who are suspicious of it: look we'll use the people who oppose us for fodder. i don't trust trump at all! this is my concern ^ my substantiation is what i can make of it as an inference or what i can analyze as a possible threat.
