Can't connect to matches?

Been seeing significant issues with trying to farm matches for the event.
Takes like 1-2 minutes to connect instead of instantly. I’ve even been seeing timeouts!
I tried updating the app, as the pop up suggested, but saw no changes.
Not the same issue as what you're facing, but I encountered the authentication error - the one that prevents you from entering the game entirely - recently.
It went away after uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Perhaps that's what you've got to do too.
I get that whenever I leave my VPN on.
