The 2nd birthday card story for #Marius was pretty cute. His dynamic together with MC is adorable as always, and I feel like we haven't had his artistic side front-and-center in a while. I think they overreacted to the NPC of the week and his shenanigans quite a bit, but I can overlook it if I assume he was one of Marius' only friends for a few key years of his life.

Unfortunately I'm not into some of the content covered by your magazine (BL) so I'm unlikely to participate beyond the occasional microblog. But I wish you luck!
@harmonea Thank you! That's totally fair, most BL fans are also otome fans, but I know that the majority of otome fans are not BL fans. As moderator I'm going to work to make sure the focus of the magazine is squarely on otome. I'm also hoping that kbin/the fediverse grows enough that we can spin BL into its own magazine.
On a different note, I've been curious about Tears of Themis. Is it difficult to get into? Or rather is it difficult to get out of? After Mystic messenger took over my life back in the day I'm hesitant to play mobile otoge haha.
@Catch42 oh ToT doesn't tie you down to the clock at all like MysMe did! It's a standard "accumulate energy over time, spend energy when you log in" format. It's more involved at the start of course, when all the content is open to you, but as a day 1 player, most days I spend less than 10 minutes on it. (I wish I had cause to spend more time on it, which is why I get into side stuff like maintaining its wiki).
What kind of guy is usually your favorite in an otome?
@harmonea I'm not really sure. I always think I'm going to go for the guy with long hair, because I love men with long hair, but he never turns out to be my favorite. I think what I really want is like a rocker dude, but in otome, the long haired ones tend to be more I don't know beauty focused? What about you?
@Catch42 I'm learning that if you give a guy a lab coat, a smirk, and some possessiveness, I'm hopeless. There's ToT's Vyn, CxM Shiraishi, Hakuoki Sannan to name a few who have nabbed my favorite slot in their respective games.
If you're looking at Themis, check Marius out for your tastes - he doesn't have long hair (none of them do outside AU event settings), and he's an artist instead of a rocker, but he's got all the extreme confidence and bratty sass of an idol. And while he's passively shown to care about his appearance through careful grooming and wearing expensive brands, he doesn't make it a big thing the way the likes of MysMe's Zen does.
