One Elite Dangerous fan traded in a model Delorean to fund building the ultimate space sim rig

Starry-eyed.
There's a video of him trying to manually land onto that spacestation that was whizzing around the neutron star every second, while spinning like a top. He was. .somewhat successful. .
Does auto landing somehow make that more possible?
I don't think so. To land you have to boost at top speed at a specific angle towards the mail slot that you can't see, and hope for the best
Unfortunately, as Star Citizen does not offer the same telemetry support
Ah… Elite doesn't too. Yes there is some telemetry available but the data (and frequency) needed for a motion rig simply isn't there. This can only be achieved by accessing the data from the game memory itself - which is what most games will flag at cheating. I'm not saying it's wrong. We won't see this in SC any time soon since SC has a highly competitive PvP community that goes bonkers when someone e.g. adds "night vision" using ReShade. These guys are so afraid of bots and scripting, loosing some perceived "edge" over others, that they will give a player doing such things hell. That's worlds colliding.
