What is a good dessert from your region?

Korvapuusti, the Finnish variation of cinnamon bun. Goes perfectly with a cup of black coffee, though usually not for dessert but as a "coffee snack"

Fika

Ah yeah but this one you linked is a folded dough, giving it a wildly different texture than the Finnish variation

Sticky Toffee Pudding

Sticky Toffee Pudding

I don't much care for desserts but sticky toffee pudding is next level.

There is little evidence where exactly this pastry originated. It's called Arretjescake where I live, but the Germans call it a Cold Dog (and it's quite different from a hot dog).

But why it's known in English as Hedgehog Slice is quite unclear to me.

Rhubarb crumble

Little Desert National Park

Banoffee pie

Rødgrød med fløde of course!

Semla!

Where I come from: vla.

Where I live: Schwarzwälderkirschtorte.

Salt water taffy is pretty nice! I prefer fudge though.
