Does anyone else find nhl.com's "goal visualizer" fun?
2mon 5d ago by lemmy.ml/u/christian in hockey@lemmy.caThe NHL official website has had a "goal visualizer" feature the past couple years that show goals diagrammatically from tracking puck and player positions. Sometimes stripping the video context makes for good comedy, or adds to the comedy for already silly goals.
I follow the caps, so here's a few of the examples I have offhand:
Typical goals scored by the Washington Capitals: A, B
Typical goals scored against Charlie Lindgren: A, B
Feel free to volunteer your own examples here.
After watching the Washing Capital examples you provided, the "goals against Charlie Lindgran" were funny.
Thanks for sharing.
We should get the one from the Canucks Sharks game the other day where the goal tender lost his balance and was hanging on to the net for dear life while the puck went in!
Edit: Here's the visualizer. If you don't know what I'm talking about, please watch this first...it makes it even better.
That's pretty neat. Poor Chuckie though.
