Firaxis reveal Civilization 7's not good enough at building attack maths, tanking its late-game performance - a patch/tutor is here

Civilization 7's latest patch fixes late-game performance drops caused by inefficient maths.
...does RPS have an editor? That was one of the most mangled, hard to read articles I've seen in a long time.
FWIW, the non-conventional writing style has been used by RPS since they started (I was a huge fan of RPS in the early 2010s). It has gotten more conspicuous since the original founders sold it to IGN/Eurogamer, but still...
"Addressed an issue that was causing late game performance drops," read the notes for the freshly released Update 1.3.2 – Patch 2, with a dev not continuing: "Game logic checking for attackable buildings was improved to avoid unnecessary and expensive calculations." So, inefficient sums choking up industrial era scraps mid-siege by the sounds of things. I can't help but feel the unnecessary and expensive calculations bit sounds l-ike someone chewing out their accountant.
There's a difference between non-conventional and just flat out typo ridden. In just this one paragraph:
"dev not continuing", it's a dev note. Typo read to me like they were filling in some blanks on the patch note. They were not.
"calculations bit sounds l-ike someone" - Why the hyphen?
On top of all that, the whole chaotic nature of the article makes me feel l-ike no human reviewed it.
