What's your travel story?

I just got back from an international trip and I'm already itching to get back out on the road. I'm also fighting jet lag and looking for inspiration for the next trip. Have any good stories to share?
I'll start.. I just got home after a visit to Korea and was surprised to have the best Croque Madame of my life in a small hanok village in Seoul. Better than Paris or any other I've tried.
I spent almost two years in a small travel trailer with my partner and my dog road tripping across our country. We saw 29 states and 31 national parks, while staying for free (legally) on public land. We ran out of money and have some repairs and upgrades to make on our trailer before we get back out on the road in a few years.
That sounds awesome! I really wanted to do something similar but never had a situation I could make the leap.
