Next week is the finale? I've been enjoying the series.
The action and lightsaber fights have been fun to watch. The animation style is fantastic, imo.
I'm just enjoying the ride.
Season finale to clarify. Already renewed for a second season.
I'm guessing Master Daki dies and Devon joins with Maul against the Empire. Although if they can pull it off I'd love to see Master Daki survive, perhaps assumed dead. Then next season Master Daki tracks down Devon and Maul, forcing Devon to reject her old master.
That's right - season finale. I got scared for a moment.
I think leaving Devon with the impression that the Inquisitors killed her master would definitely push her closer to Maul.
I'm already stressed about the next two episodes. Haha
I also appreciate the way Maul is trying to win over Devon.
We know Sidious is just evil for the fun of it. He just wants power and to rule the galaxy. He also wants immortality, but that's just so he can rule forever.
But Maul? Sure he wants his revenge against Sidious, but that isn't what he's pitching to Devon. The Empire has taken so much from Devon and the Jedi. The Empire continues to take and destroy.
Maul wants to destroy The Empire, he's a rebel!
You could say he's a phantom menace?
Already renewed for a second season.
Wizard.
The opening of episode 8 being the close of episode 7 was odd when watching these episodes that released back to back. Especially since it looked like one of the Inquisitors was killed, but then nope they're fine.
Episode 8 was basically a Maul Clone Wars recap. I did wonder if the other Zabrack calling out "Brother!" would trigger anything with Maul, turns out a whole episode.
And of course ending with a Dryden Voss call out. I figured he would show up eventually, but figured it would be in a different season.
The opening of episode 8 and the closing of episode 7 are animated differently.
The Inquisitors move differently and Maul doesn’t just sit there and let a rock fall on his face.
Classic fake out, but made way too obvious by releasing those episodes at the same time.
That was indeed Ewan McGregor’s voice during the Theed flashback.
The animation style made Obi-wan look like a kid, though.
I mean… he looked real young in that movie, too.
