New AnyTone AT5888UV

So I got a new radio because my 2m died (30 yr old or more radio shack HTH242). Anyway this one has a USB host port on the side that is not called out in the manual (the programming cable connect to the mic jack). There is also TV/AV jack that is also not mentioned in the manual. Anyone got any ideas?
Seems like it might just be a charging port?

I was hoping for a CAT port, oh well. I did find the TV/AV in the maual, seems it can receive FM broadcast radio and analog TV audio and output line signal audio there
So I took a look at the PCB and the D+ and D- are going to one of the micro controllers, I'm going to do some data sniffing with the o-scope and see if there is anything happening. I'd like to figure out how to do CAT control. If that don't pan out I will try the head unit extension port and see what I can find there.
