Accessing Lemmy World through a VPN

I've noticed I'm having difficulty posting using a VPN. Is this specific to Lemmy?
As a lot of bad actors come via VPN endpoints Lemmy.world has a policy to not allow comments or posts from known endpoints.
support@lemmy.world may be a better com to ask this.
