it took until ethan peck's spock for me to realize they're just normal eyebrow prostheses put on upside-down.

@n7gifmdn @lime that makes so much more sense than what my mom told me as a kid, that they plucked his eyebrows and then transplanted the hair like when dad tried to grow his hair back

I think nobody would have complained if that had been the transporter accident Janeway reversed.
