You guys are awesome. You've taken a bunch of sand and made it do some amazing things. FOSS devs especially, you do this for the good of everyone for little benefit to yourselves. You all deserve a medal.

He got a bad case of COVID-19, was in a coma, and is permanently paralyzed. Looks like he's got a GoFundMe for medical transport from Florida to Texas, where he'd have better support and hopefully be able to do voice work.

I guarantee that most contributors who aren't being paid are doing their commits out of spite, but I can definitely applaud them for being as vindictive as they are.
