Person living with me got guinea pigs. They speak to them all the time. The funniest shit each time, brings a huge smile to my face.

Had several people checking in on the cat while I was traveling. They each wrote a bit about what they did on the last page of the info I'd written out. The logs also included notes like "I was going to play with him until he got tired but he never did," and "He doesn't care that he's not allowed on the table at all," and "Meowed at me until I snuggled with him." Having so many people to count on for something like that who participated so joyfully is just a wonderful feeling.

The traveling was also pretty good. I got to dust off my Japanese and share some of my experiences from when I lived in Japan with my partner. I also got to cap it off with a martial arts exchange/demonstration that went pretty well and got to meet some people from Australian branches as well.

I've made £70 selling unwanted stuff on vinted. Great to clear out some space and make a bit of money!

Walking into the local YMCA yesterday. They have a lot of kids programs.

One little boy, maybe five years old?, makes a monster face at me.
