I also thought Aaron Eckhart and Thomas Jane were the same for a while.
I've never seen them in the same room together 🤷♂️

This isn't quite the same, but my friend made me watch Project Hail Mary yesterday, and it wasn't until about 80% through that someone was talking about Ryan Gosling, and I was like, "Wait, this is Ryan Gosling?"
Coincidentally I had the same exact experience with Matt Damon and the Martian, except I didn't know that was Matt Damon until after I finished the movie.
I don't really watch media or know who anyone is, but I know of memes about both of them.
