It was blown up by the British, then partially repaired in 1808 before being shut down for good in 1874.
Interestingly it was also Roald Amundsen's last stop before leaving Norway for his 1910 south pole expedition, to pick up almost a hundred dogs who stayed there waiting for pickup.
I assume that wikipedia article was written by someone for whom English was a second language.
Garrison was in 1658 on the 24 man
Fredriksholm was timed to be able to accommodate 300 men.
