Okay, sounds interesting. I kind of wish they went even harder into the angle and made a full on ARG out of it complete with fake websites and everything.
If not a website, a PDF of a fake 90s game magazines covering the in-universe original game, or even perhaps a selection of magazines.
This would be a more permanent solution for the game experience and I think the printer magazine format would work better as recreation of the 90s.
Oh, I was thinking more about stuff like fake wikis, fake message boards with discussions about the game. You could do all sorts of cool stuff.
