Can I promote my Delta Chat groups in lemmy and piefed ?

A friend of mine has created Foss groups in delta chat. I wish to add members to them.
Can I post about them in lemmy/piefed promotional communities ?
Delta chat is based on chat mail right? Are their other clients? Do you have any recommendations for hosting chat mail servers?
I don't know much about Delta Chat.
