Is what happened to Caesar really happen? Getting stabbed in the senate and so forth? If so did the conspirators really run through the streets blood soaked bragging? If so how come?

Yes, the sources are in agreement as to the time, location, and main perpetrators of Caesar's assassination. The Optimates (conservatives) thought that recent dissatisfaction with some of Caesar's policies (often criticized for not being radical enough), or some innate love of the Roman people for the ultrawealthy conservatives who had spent the past ~100 years at that point assassinating Populare (reformist) politicians, would lead to them being heralded as heroes.
... like many detached elites throughout history, they were very, very wrong. The city of Rome was deeply horrified, and the riot following Caesar's funeral was devastating.
