Is this a bad community for bug reports? There's a Bug flair but perhaps that's for solutions rather than reports. Feel free to move elsewhere or flat remove entirely if unwanted.

I still see Notifications links occasionally that when you click on them, do not go anywhere. Sometimes they go the post but do not scroll down or reveal the particular comment in question, and I keep telling myself that one day I will make a bug report for them (but then never do:-P). Yet it's been awhile since I've seen one that goes nowhere at all, so this might legitimately be an unknown consequence of like a new change?

I presume that the post might have gotten moved to some other community, or the user banned, or something along those lines (although the modlog shows nothing at all for the community it was submitted to?), but my point here is the disconnect between being shown something in the Notifications that turns out not to be anything at all, which is jarring.

Oof, and in blindingly bright light background too - when I am in the dark with dark mode on, ouch!!

An ideal solution would be to not show a notification unless the thing it points to actually exists (including, by extension, the notification bell lighting up).
