don't think the military is starved for funding
It tends to get blown down projects of dubious worth while servicemen and veterans have basic health issues that go untreated.

A constant talking point of right-wing idiots here in the USA is that funding social services will in some way cut social services for servicemen and veterans.
Tf they deserve? they barely get a fraction of what everyone gets.
And it is disingenuous to include veteran healthcare and services into the military spending.
