Chicago police released a new photo of a "person of interest" seen fleeing the scene of burning a cross in Grant Park.

Burn churches, not crosses

Or do what the Dutch do, convert churches into event spaces, art galleries etc

My favorite is when they become libraries.

They start as buildings for a weird book club who keep reading bits of the same book over and over. Then, they transition to centers of learning and public investment. Big win.

I don’t think most communities need a library every 5 to 10 blocks, or 2+ at one intersection like churches seem to be in the US.

yes. its good not to waste infrastructure.

They could easily be both, as many churches also doubled as community centers.

The FBI is also investigating.

"We take all potential bias-motivated incidents seriously," the FBI said.

Yep. Sure.

To give him a job

"The burning cross is widely considered to be a symbol of racist hatred."

That or someone is getting tired of religious oppression. Or making a statement about the overwhelming number of fake Christians in America. Or that we're violating our Constitution by giving preferential treatment to certain religions in our politics.
