The days are mair long now an' the spring air feels right. Hope yer had a braw week tae reach friday! Whit wis the best thing ye did locally this week?
Had a lovely 1.5 weeks in Austria. A few days with a fellow former American (don't judge me!). Then our thrice yearly company offsite. Always a boozy affair. My God though I am so ready to be back home in the Far North. It turns out that after only a year living there 25C+ more feels like a raging inferno. Not looking forward to the wife's aunt and uncle coming round though. Ah well.
Yes, off-site is always code for getting sloshed in my experience too. And shorts are key to survival in 20C+ these days for me too. Cargo shorts for the shades storage. And, you need a strategy for the in-laws, something to bond with them about; and an exit for when it gets too heated

And the best hing ah did this week wis... Exercising aye day this week. Feelin it like, sair muscles. Nae seein the weight faw aff yet either. Prolly cause ah'm eatin mighty fine still, butchers this week saw bone-in pork belly, tomahawk pork steaks, and valentine pork loin. Mibbes a veggie day the moro, certainly no onymair pig!
Nae sure Sunday plans yet, I fancy a kids ceilidh - but I'd bet they dinnae! Swim an a film maist likely
Sounds delicious!! I would love to drop a few pounds but I like food too much!!

This week has been another busy one but the best thing was work Beach Party last night. Not on an actual beach as the weather is shocking just now, but in a hall with beach theme decor!! We danced, we sung, we limbo-ed!! BYOB and snacks! Perfect!!
Nae me. But spotted this on my walk home
