Sorry for the late post. dbzer0 was down this morning and I only have so much time online before I have to leave for work. I don't normally get on in the evening, but I wanted to get a post out for the day. Thought about a few songs, but they will have to wait as this one came across my recommendations, and we're still in Pride month, so here goes.

I first heard this song in the movie trailer, which is kinda backwards for fans of this song. So the movie of the same name was a song first. The song went over very well with its target audience — young lesbians — and fans encouraged Kiyoko to do more with the song. So she did, she made it into a book. The book eventually got adapted into a movie, and that's what I saw the trailer for. I think it's awesome that a song became a book which became a movie, which I've seen one time before and I mentioned this before, Creepy Nuts made a song called Yofukashino Uta which became a manga, Call of the Night, which got adapted into an anime of the same name, which featured a cameo of the two guys in Creepy Nuts hitting on the main girl at a party. Love seeing stuff like that. It's cool to see things cross mediums, but it's also cool to see someone's dream take one shape, then evolve into something else, and then something else from that.

I'm definitely going to see Girls Like Girls when it comes out. I don't really go to the movies much. I went for Masters of the Universe (mostly, because I hope they do a ThunderCats movie), I may go for Disclosure Day, I like big epic films like that... dramas I prefer to watch at home, on streaming.
