How to get around full screen 'Accessability Service Disclosure' window on android.

9h 2m ago by lemmy.ca/u/Bluegrass_Addict in bitwarden@discuss.tchncs.de

So went to open bitwarden on the phone.. full screen disclosure saying they have an optional feature for auto fill bla bla bla.. it's optional, I don't want it.

my only option on this screen are, accept... close app..

how can something be optional, but forced? How do I bypass this without accepting since we'll.. I don't accept and don't want anything autofill ever. I dont at all doing, 1 more second of work/clicking...

I have a ticket open but was instantly met with some garbage AI response that was clearly off base, didn't know anything about the actual issue and attempted to lead me into some garbage that didn't apply. not surprised..

waiting on hopefully a human to reply but figured I'd ask here because well.. CX service is typically trash with all companies.

If you read the message carefully again you'll see that it informs you what the feature will do if you choose to activate it and requires you to accept this. In no way does it force you to activate the feature.

Did you try looking settings -> autofill?

It has been a while since I used android, so I cannot say specifically that it is there. On iOS I have to go in there and enable it, as it is disabled by default.
