Do most digital nomads have a "home base", or are most of you truly nomadic?

I'm not a digital nomad myself, just curious about the lifestyle. I've spent significant periods of time abroad, even working abroad, but I always had a place to come back to, usually the tiniest shoebox apartment somewhere.

I've recently been given the opportunity to permanently be nomadic. I'm keeping my house so I can pay it off and rent it as a free storage unit, and as a last resort if everything goes wrong abroad

12 years full on nomad. no home.

I know this is quite late, but I sold everything and have been fully nomadic for the past year.

I cycle between wanting to travel more and wanting to have some stability in relationships, places, etc. During those times I'll rent space for longer in a CoLive arrangement so that I still have social interactions.
