[Meta] Good follows on Mastodon?

I have had Mastodon for a month or so but I only followed one person and never really understood it. Would love if we could share our favorite follows here so I can start to use it to migrate completely off Twitter.
I love weird twitter, and the leftist types like Ken Klippenstein
What I love about mastodon is that you can follow Hashtags. It's an easy way to discover accounts which post about topics you are interested in.
The explore tab is also very nice to find new interesting accounts.

I think you would be better off following hash tags. I discovered so many new follows that way.
