They're on the home screen in a banner on the right when you select an app, as sections on the left, in a banner on the bottom left, a banner over the movie in their Roku Channel app and so on.

You may be in a country where they are not serving many ads. They also use ACR on TV models which have it that sends fingerprints of what you watch to a server for personalised ads.

I can't wait for free movie site levels of ads.

You can also use fingerprint.com and CreepJS to see how much it is leaking.

It uses "direct match" by default which inserts affiliate links when you type in a shopping site and press enter. It is opt-out, not opt-in.

Vivaldi has essentially no fingerprinting protection, and it also inserts affiliate links by default without your constent.

Firefox or a fork of it. You can just install uBlock Origin from the Firefox addons.

Though YouTube likes to shadowban comments if you have the Quick Fixes list on, so if YouTube adblocking works without it, then turn it off.
