Also Roku live tv has commercial breaks.

On a related note, the Samsung live tv app now runs javascript during its commercial breaks. It locks\disables about ten buttons on your remote so you are forced to wait or "interact" with the commercial.

I expect as Roku grows they'll soon pick up that feature.

A future international loophole still exists. A California-based software developer complies, passes copyright audits, and then creates his proprietary software. But he will just export it to his home country, renames it, and the world still gets its virtual Taylor Swift or Lucy Lu bots.

A lot of student ai developers and ai projects are only in California on a temporary basis.

A very specific type of data center called a scaleable private data center -- mainly used by one entity, one private purpose, designed to be infinity sized-up. Not to be confused with other valuable purposed data centers. Some examples include...

  • telecommunications public sector (911, gov't, schools, local tv & radio)
  • telecommunications private sector (global phone, tv, radio, satellite uplinks)
  • internet services (aws, cdn, db, backends)
