That sounds great! Making LaTeX more accessible is definitely important. In my scientific bubble LaTeX package management was something many people got confused by as well as knowing when to run BibTeX. The available Github Actions definitely makes it easier to not rely on Overleaf too much though it might also be too complicated for some. Cool stuff and thanks for the summary!

I agree. And one stop further: commercial models (not commercial model hosting) have to largely die due to copyright violations. Only chance for that is that the EU makes a move with the president after Trump.

You cannot really ban the violating models that exist nowadays, but you can decide that these models themself cannot be commercialized due to their violations.

You can log into the ones where you have am account. Single-Sign-On (google it if you don't know the term)is something still missing sadly.

A viewer could log into any instance that is connected with your instance to view your videos.

Your instance is a server and yes if it is a slow server, videos from that instance will take more time to download. Not sure whether foreign videos are first loaded to the instance (unlikely) or just pulled from your browser (likely).

Ich glaube das hängt stark vom Festival und natürlich auch dir ab. Ich war 2016,2017 und 2019 auf Wacken und alles war immer mega entspannt. Kann natürlich trotzdem verstehen, wenn man für sich selbst dann eine Grenze setzt.
