I just came from a flip5, it broke after 2 years, 6 months, and 21 days. Longer than I expected actually.

I left my pixel 6 pro to get the flip 5 on sale. Now I've gone back to my pixel 6 pro, and honestly? It almost feels like an upgrade. I forgot how much I missed my pixel features. And the phone is still plenty fast.

I liked the flip, I enjoyed many features, but turns out I hate Samsung for several reasons.

Corporate, but tasty

I worry this may be some form of confirmation bias or something. Because at that I was like "huh, I hadn't thought of that, but now that I do, I think you're right! It HAS been slightly more lately!"

Then I realized that I've been purposely holding off updates since August, so it can't be true haha.

I'm not saying the same happened to you, I'm just saying it happened to me, so it's possible it's happening to others 🤷‍♂️😂

I think high end smasnugs do that. But yeah same, I have a Chromecast and I just sling stuff to the TV. Its tuner hasn't been used in a decade.

Speaking of decade.... I should probably upgrade that thing. But it's big enough, dark enough (LDC, but at least not a crappy LCD), and high enough resolution for it's size and distance from my couch (1080, 50 inches, 10 or 15 feet) that I just can't justify replacing it. I wish it would die already lol.

Maybe if I move and get a big enough bedroom, I'll put it in there, and upgrade to something with HDR. I really wanna get in on some good HDR. Seems like it's getting really good and really affordable if you buy the right thing.

Sprinkles taste like nothing and are sometimes ridiculously crunchy and hurt my teeth. Everything else looks delicious. I'm hungry.

Sawyer squeeze storage?

I'm camping tomorrow. Last year I cleaned and dried my filter, and stored it open to air in its mesh bag.

I tested it yesterday and it was full blocked, dry. I soaked it for about 30 minutes, still blocked, barely dribbling water.

So I used the coconut water method that lifestraw recommends. That brought it back to about 70% flow rate. Still noticeably slower than before. I flushed all the coconut water mixture out and let it soak overnight, I forgot to test it this morning, but I'll likely use it for camping tomorrow even if it's still 70%.

If it comes back to 100%, then maybe I just wasn't patient enough.

If it doesn't come back to 100% I'll replace it, and going forward I think I'll follow lifestraws saline storage method.
