When Windows users find the Threadiverse
3h 27m ago in programmer_humor@programming.dev from media.piefed.worldIf your whole identity, personality, community or social group is based on hating something then you should reevaluate how you spend your time. This is only marginally worse than making your whole personality being a fanboy for a specific brand/product. Things are there to help you do stuff, so get on and do that stuff ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Optimal airflow
4h 20m ago in memesIt is the underwear for the PC. The PC's nethers will be left uncovered. Although that might be intentional in this case since some people like the breeze in their nethers.

Always bring that long cord
3d 15h ago in bikinibottomtwitterThis is the norm rather than the exception. An extension cord is standard travel equipment for me. The most common place to travel is Europe so ive made one with a European power plug at one end and 4 UK sockets. So i don't need to buy loads of travel adapters either. All my electronics can plug into the single power strip.
What are your opinions on regular drinking?
3d 16h ago in asklemmySame. In UK that excludes you a social pariah. It's annoying how much society is centred around alcohol.
Sony pulling back from PC also means it's pulling back from China
3d 17h ago in pcgaming@lemmy.ca from www.pcgamer.comYou're preaching to PC gamer enthusiasts. The majority of normies see PC as too advanced and complicated. Most go looking for consoles. The console market isn't going down any times soon and devs can make plenty of money from this huge and very lucrative consumer.
Do you have a favorite game, like #1 favorite that no game can beat? If yes, which one?
4d 4h ago in gaming@lemmy.mlDifficult to choose a single one. But a game that has been my stable side game for ages, that I constantly keep in circulation and that no other game has come close to replicating the feel of for me has been Enter the Gungeon.
