In the UK, too. The whole process seems designed to be as intrusive, dehumanising, and shaming as possible.

‘Jellyfish’ and ‘doormat’: why is Keir Starmer so deeply unpopular?

4mon 5d ago in uk_politics@feddit.uk from www.theguardian.com

Is it because of the cruel, corrupt, stupid, and destructive things he and his party do, by any chance? The fact he only got where he is by lying to people? The way he doesn't seem to believe in anything other than himself being Prime Minister?

The fact his party is useless at getting the word out when it does do good things, so most people have no idea? Or the way we're hurtling towards fascism because of him, because he's squandering his massive majority and continuing to wank off his rich mates at the expense of everyone else (while scapegoating asylum seekers, disabled people, and trans people)?

Or some other reason?! I can't wait to read this important analysis and find out! 😍

US | FDA says food companies can claim "no artificial colors" if they use natural dyes.

So if the dyes aren't artificial, you can claim "no artificial colours". This sounds like it makes sense? 👍

In the past, companies were generally only able to make such claims when their products had no added color whatsoever — whether derived from natural sources or otherwise.

Here in the UK, I'm pretty sure "No added colours" and "No artificial colours" are two different claims.
